Let me show you quickly what we have…
Sardinia 2 … the island with the white sand and the natural swimming pools. Clear water everywhere, perfect if you just want to swim and take some beautiful pictures.
Watamu Marine Park … that’s something different, that’s under the water. It’s all about the fish and the corals. You put on your snorkel mask and dive into a whole other world.
Safari Blue … think Sardinia 2, plus more. You still get the white sand and the swimming, but now you also go to Sudi Island in the mangroves of Mida Creek, where you see crabs, many different birds, and you can even do canoeing.
Sabaki River … a river estuary flowing into the Indian Ocean. It’s all about the mangroves and the birdwatching here. You get to see hippos and crocodiles, walk along the sand banks, and end the day with an unforgettable sunset. Canoeing is part of it too.
Wasini Island … that’s a small island close to Kisite. People come here for lunch and relaxation, in a setting shaped by seafood, restaurants, and Swahili culture … though some families call the island home too. The corals nearby are beautiful, and a traditional dhow excursion completes the experience.
Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park … a protected marine area, just like Watamu Marine Park, and well known for its snorkeling. Colourful corals, and with a bit of luck, dolphins. Here you’ll find all sorts of different fish … some you can even swim with … and turtles too.
